Hospital officials deny reports of a “Bible Ban”


“No such proposal has ever been discussed or considered,” said Toni MacDonald, the CHR’s director of Children, Outpatient and Community Services.

“Members of the public have the expectation and the right to access the Bible and other religious materials when they are in hospital—this has long been the case in Calgary’s hospitals and this practice will not change,” MacDonald said.
