It’s The End of the World as We Know It!

Ronald Weinland, former pastor of the Worldwide Church of God, and pastor and founder of the Church of God - PKG, has penned a controversial book, The Prophesied End-Time billed as “The Ultimate End of the World Survival Guide”

(TOLEDO, Ohio) Prophetic theories about the end of the world have woven
their way into mainstream America for as long as we can remember - the
millennium and the Y2K mania, Nostradamus, and the best-selling Left Behind
series. Both the millennium predictions and Nostradamus’ were false, but if
the world is about to end, how and when will it happen, and why?

Ronald Weinland, the controversial pastor of the Church of God-PKG and
former pastor of the Worldwide Church of God, expresses his concern for the
prophesized demise of humanity in his latest release, The Prophesied
End-Time
(The-end, ISBN 0-9753240-0-4, $23.00). The Prophesied End-Time
challenges readers to consider catastrophic end-time events that are
prophesied to begin soon, from more acts of terrorism to natural disasters,
the events will far exceed the devastation of 9/11. The magnitude of these
events, predicts Weinland, will lead to the demise of the United States and
the United Kingdom, which will lead to World War III.

“People may not be accustomed to hearing about modern day prophets, except
for those who are fanatics, loons, and the mentally disturbed, but being a
prophet is the role that God has given me,” says Weinland. “I am fully aware
of the ridicule that such a message brings and believe that the only proof
will be time itself.”

Weinland graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Ambassador College
(an institution of the Worldwide Church of God) in 1975 with a major in
Theology and a minor in mathematics. He was a pastor of the Worldwide Church
of God for 12 years before taking over as the pastor of the United Church of
God and later founded the Church of God - PKG (Preparing for the Kingdom of
God) in 1997.

Ronald Weinland has been serving God for more than 30 years. He and his
wife, Laura, travel across the United States, Canada, New Zealand,
Australia, and parts of Europe helping brethren spread their message. Ronald
and his family live near Toledo, Ohio where he is the president and pastor
of The Church of God-PKG.

  1. I read The Prophesied End Time and thought it was very enlightening and sobering in regards to mankinds future. It makes sense, is scripturally sound and I firmly believe the future does not bode well for those who would scoff at its message. Its encouraging to know that parts of Revelation are finally unlocked and mankinds future is shown to be ultimately wonderful. It gives purpose and direction to an otherwise directionless existance for man.

  2. I have read the book and will read it again…..it really get’s your attention…..gives one something to really contemplate. I certainly recommend the reading of this endtime phrophecy. A book very well done.

Gives us reason to rely on God and look toward the ultimate future.

  3. If Ron Weinland promotes himself as a prophet, unlike John the Baptist, why even bother reading further?

  4. I have read the Prophesied-End Time 5 times. It is astounding and truthful. It explains in simple language what is happening and even more important -WHY these things will shortly unfold on

this earth. You won’t be able to put it down. The book gives hope to what will seem a hopeless

situation in the future. Most important book I have ever read.

  5. Personally I think the Bible is the most important book I have ever read. I have read Weinland’s book, and have to say it is a load of you know what. I’m not saying that the world is in good shape, and I’m not saying the end isn’t near, but the basis of his book and the basis of your whole religion is a man who was manipulative, decietful, and did not pratice what he preached. Weinland goes way over the line by calling himself a profit. He most certainly is not. I know what HWA’s motivation was, but the only thing I can figure Weinland’s motivation is insanity. The end may be near, but you people are really kidding yourselves if you believe that you are God’s chosen people. A religion made up of do’s and dont’s that were given to you by a man and not God. You probably think that i’m confused and don’t understand because I am spiritually dead, but just the opposite. I know what I believe and I simply don’t agree with you.

  6. What I don’t understand is…. for someone who is SO understanding about the Bible… doesn’t it say CLEARLY in the bible that:

Nobody knows when Jesus is coming back. Jesus himself said in Mark 13:32, “No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Be on guard! Be alert! You do not know when that time will come.” In 1 Thessalonians 5, the apostle Paul also encourages us to keep alert because although the day will come “like a thief,” we “are not in darkness” for that day to surprise us.

I’d like to say that anybody who tries to make money for any reason by trying to call themself a “prophet” when the bible CLEARLY states otherwise is…. well, the bible also says not to judge, so I’ll keep my yap shut.

    Peace, and Merry CHRISTmas.

  7. Dear Pastor& Family, Thank You for sending me the book on End Time. I am almost done reading it and it is so true because I have studied this in the Bible a few years ago and because of this book God has reminded me of his ruling this earth very soon. Thank You again for giving me this book and I wish I could send $$ but at this time I am not able to do that. I will for sure pass this book on to others. GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU

    IN CHRIST, Diana Ives

  8. I have read the book and really need to comment that its author is a very brave man. Using the Bible and or God for nothing more than some sort of personal gain is very brave indeed. The content of the book is not wrong. Anyone who can read and understand the Bible already knows the so-called manifestations that this book claims to uncover. Spirtuality is God’s business. Lets not try and take over that business because it is profitable financially or otherwise. I applied to Trinity Seminary to finish my doctorate but after reading this web site, with their advertisment across the top, have withdrawn my application and will apply elsewhere.

  9. Some of you are saying that Mr. Weinland is using this book for personal gain. How can you make anything if you give away your so called “personal gain”. I received my book FREE. Thank God for people brave enough to speak the truth in the mist of people who will not here the truth. No one knows the hour that is true, but the father did leave us with signs to watch for. Read the Bible, if you are having trouble with his book. The Bible is where he gets his information. I’m watching, and praying, because I know God isn’t going to let this world continue on its destructive path for much longer. He brought down Sodom and Gomarrah because of its wickedness, and I promise you the same will happen to this world soon! All you have to do is watch the nightly news to see some of the signs pointing to the coming of Jesus Christ, Even so come Lord Jesus! Amen.

  10. I thought God was forgiving? Why destroy imperfect beings for their imperfections? Imperfect beings that God created in the first place? Also, if God commands us not to kill, why does he? Is he a hypocrite? Would you kill your child because he or she paid no mind to your rules? Psychological conditioning is dangerous whether provided complimentary or not. Sadly, this self appointed prophet, as are all prophets, is spreading his beliefs at the expense of his own Jesus-like flock. Ask yourself this question: The bible seeks to control people by stating what God wants. As such, the bible is a controlling mechanism. Bearing this in mind, who was the one who wanted control? The bible is definitely a tool; but, who’s tool is it really? It’s the ultimate schismatic tool. The devil is the only one who ever wanted division. And ask yourself this as well: Why did our loving God imprison the Devil on earth with us, thereby leaving us in a mire of his psychotic torture? Answers and thoughts are sincerely welcome. Thanks. - Ed

  11. I have not read this book and I’m not an expert on the Bible, far from it, hell, I hardly ever read it. But I thought that, somewhere, in the Bible it says that it is wrong to read other books in an attempt to decypher the Bible (or something like that). Anyone care to comment on that? Whether this guy makes money off it or not is beside the point. Anyway, is the end coming? You bet, but the current thought in 1900 was that the “end time” was then. The problem is we don’t know when it is. Be Just and be Good, explore and continue.

    Good day!

  12. Haven’t read the book. Have read many like it in the seventies etc. There is a better book and guides to help understand it (called Pastors and the Holy Spirit).

Mom is right, we’ll never know the day and Matt24:32 seems to indicate that that the ‘fruit’ may not need to come before the end, but the signs of it coming may be enough (buds).

We are in the end times and few churches know that because they are so much in the world themselves they can’t see it. The few churches (and I mean the physical people in them) who are challenging the devil and coming out onto the streets to make a stand - they are getting told to get back in the building where they belong. However, the church did not start in a building - it started in the streets!

You want to get closer to the times that will come? - do it by making a stand for who you are and not, I repeat, ‘not’ backing down the way most christians have when confronted by the physical manifestation of the devil in people, government or media.

The biggest disaster isn’t terrorism from bombs or earthquakes - it’s the state of all the churches in the world. Come on Christians, get off your chuffs and pray that your leaders, pastors, ministers or whatever they are called, will rise up and do the work as well as the prayer. Prayer in little rooms does not frighten the devil - prayer in large rooms with hundreds then doing something with that preparation can take nations.

And Ed, just read the Bible, even the first few chapters are all it will take to fix the error in your third sentence, and allowing a child to openly disobey you is killing them, training starts early man - just read the Bible and get in front of a ‘good’ pastor who can teach you, but make sure you submit to him otherwise your not covered (once again - read the Bible - its all in there).

  13. Yes, it was a good book! Always remember the Bible comes 1st . (There is no Christmas, Jesus was born in early fall)

  14. I read this book in April 2005 & again in June of

this year as well. I have not been going to any

church since about 1978. I was raised a Methodist

and attended regularly until 1973. My premise is

that what this book said got my attention on a

much deeper level. I shared it with a good friend

of mine that used to be a Southern Baptist pastor.

He left the Baptist church for numerous reasons.

I asked him based on his years of bible study did

he think the book made any sense. He told me that

what was printed in this book was the truth. I’ve

been listening to this pastor on Sabbath services. What happen to me was what John 6:44

said about being called out. Once you know the

truth and can back it up with your Bible nothing

else matters. Don’t forget God’s plan includes all

people of all nations; some will still deny him.

  15. I’ve read The Prophesied End Time and listened to Ron Weinland’s radio interviews on his website. People keep quoting that “no one knows the day or hour only my Father in Heaven”…Christ said that while he was still walking the earth, but then he went into heaven to God. The symbolism about the lamb opening the seals in the Book of Revelation says Christ was worthy to open them. At some point, even Christ knows. The bible says the Tribulation lasts 3-1/2 years…so if the two witnesses are killed 3.5 days before they are resurrected (on the day Christ returns) then there has to be a point where there is a 3.5 year plus 3.5 day countdown right? The 2 witnesses have a mission for 1,260 days…right before the return of Christ.

Also the bible says that God does nothing without revealing it to his servants the prophets…so SOMEBODY will know what is happening before it happens.
