Anonymous donor gives Christian school in Iowa $1,000,000.

WALKER, Iowa School officials say anonymous donors have given one (m) million dollars to Cono Christian School.

Headmaster Andrew Belz says the couple, who has Iowa roots, told school officials they wanted to honor God and that they were impressed with the operation of the school.

The donation will help the school’s campaign of raising 3-point-2 million dollars. The money will be used to build a gymnasium and dormitories.

Cono is a K-12 Christian day and boarding school in Walker, about 20 miles north of Cedar Rapids. The school enrolls approximately 75 boarding students as well as 30 day and staff students.
