New Bible Shows Christ as a Woman, God as Female

As if the Christian faith lacked controversy, yet another “bible” is released. This difference with this bible is that it portrays God as female. Jesus Christ of Nazareth is now Judith Christ of Nazareth.
Why? Empowerment. The publisher wanted to “acknowledge the rise of women in society.”
A new edition of the Gospels of the Bible for the first time shows Christ as a woman, named Judith Christ of Nazareth, and God as female. In all other respects, the classic texts of the Gospels remain unchanged.
The publisher, LBI Institute, has released this new Bible entitled: “Judith Christ of Nazareth, The Gospels of the Bible, Corrected to Reflect that Christ Was a Woman, Extracted from Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.” The book is available in bookstores and online.
“This long-awaited revised text of the Gospels makes the moral message of Christ more accessible to many, and more illuminating to all,” says Billie Shakespeare, V.P. for the publisher. “It is empowering. We published this new Bible to acknowledge the rise of women in society.”

I posted this similar comment on another page.
First, this is hardly a new bible. The publication date is October 2003. As someone in the book business, that’s practically as old as the Gutenberg Bible.
Second, as was pointed out on Amazon and confirmed by yours truly, Judith means “praise” in Hebrew. Jesus means “YHWH Saves”. Judd, Jud, Judah, Jude and Judas all mean “praise.” It can make one wonder.
It doesn’t make me wonder.
Oh come off the blatant patriarchal comments! People are so afraid of Women being the head of the household that they attack anything that has to do with Women. The truth is, the Female gender is the Superior One. This has been scientifically and biologically proven. There is no argument.
The Bible CANNOT be re-written. It’s already written and ‘settled’. The sound believer knows that we dont need to write a female-based bible to give the woman her place.
God is a perfect God; male and female created He them.
Dont be confused God has no gender!

Men wrote the bible. Therefore God is protrayed as male. It is not the definitive word of God. God speaks to everyone who will listen.
Christian Fundamentalism is just another way of saying terrorist. Terrorism against a personal relationship with God be SHE female or male. And of course against women.
The proof of this is within Genisis that Adam was first. As long ago as the 70’s a scientific article under the heading “the fight to be male” was published and has since also been shown on television; where scientists tried to find proof of the genesis story. Shocked they were when it was discovered that Woman came first and man second. Women are the creative force, they give life. Often, men take it away. War, rape, child abuse, wife bashing and religious indoctrination are their tools. Not all but many are guilty of these crimes. These desparate ways are of course fear based.
