Tri-athelete raises funding and awareness for HIV/AIDS

USA (MNN) — A hero from Minnesota went the distance to raise money for HIV/AIDS. Christian Reformed World Relief Committee reports Mike Pluimer gathered over $30,000 for CRWRC AIDS programs and placed second at a charity triathlon. In the past year, he made personal appearances at schools and churches to speak about AIDS awareness.
