Lord of the Rings Movie Marathon

Another Richard C. Wilson, Jr. update. This time about the Lord of the Rings Trilogy Screenings being hosted across the country to commemorate the release of Lord of the Rings : Return of the King.

LORD OF THE RINGS SPECIAL SHOWING INFORMATION DALLAS, TEXAS - Rave Motion Pictures is proud to announce that three of its theaters will play the special extended editions of THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING and THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE TWO TOWERS. This will be the big screen debut for both versions.

In addition, a trilogy ticket will be available for Tuesday, Dec. 16 for patrons to see both extended editions and an advance showing of the epic’s conclusion THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE RETURN OF THE KING.

THE RETURN OF THE KING will open nationwide Dec. 17 at 12:01 a.m.

Only 100 theaters in the U.S. will host the unique showings. The following RMP theaters were selected:

Pensacola 18 – Pensacola, Fla.
Jefferson Pointe 18 – Fort Wayne, Ind.
Colonel Glenn 18 – Little Rock, Ark.

TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE THURSDAY, OCT. 9 AT THE BOX OFFICE AND ONLINE AT 12 P.M. CST.

The following is a generalized schedule, as exact show times are pending:

THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING
Dates: December 5-11
Running Time: 3 hours 29 minutes
Price: Regular admission applies (check your local box office)

THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE TWO TOWERS
Dates: December 12-15
Running Time: 3 hours 45 minutes
Price: Regular admission applies (check your local box office)

TRIOLOGY TICKET – ONE TIME ONLY ALL DAY EVENT
December 16
Running Time: Fellowship of the Ring and Two Towers same as above, Return of the King TBD.
Price: $25 per person for all three films.
