RANT :: On recent searches at In the Faith and the depravity of Mankind
I am really baffled, I mean completely baffled. The obviously Christian Blog, In The Faith is constantly searched for keywords that a rational thinking person would not expect to find on a Christian website. For some reason people think that “In The Faith” houses a hidden treasure trove of depravity and debauchery.
Who are these people and why do they search for Mel Gibson’s email address, Kirk Talley Nude, Kirk Talley Nude Pictures, Nude pictures the Abercrombie catalogs, and a myriad of other stuff.
Understanding Google’s preference for weblogs, I am sure that the searches will now bring the readers here.
Thus, here is my message to the wandering searcher:
Dear Sir/Madam:
I regret to inform you that neither In The Faith - A Chronicle of the Christian Faith or The Chronicle of Anthony K. Valley contain links to the aforementioned questionable material. We do offer several links to a promote a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ , feel free to explore those sites, instead.
God Bless you, and good bye!

Posted by: Bob at February 14, 2004 02:41 PMThis is for Mel Gibson. Thank you for taking a much needed stand for someone who is beyond ourselves. I mean Christ did so much for us and many are unfaithful. I am a Saved Christian and have come to learn so much about faith and belief. So many people are ashamed of being the best they can for the Lord because it is easier to shut it out than to stand up for Christ. When in reality they need God so much and are worried about what others think. So on the day of judgement they much rather answer the question,”Why did you not beleive in me”. THese people are worried about living the “rich life” rather than living the God given life. Yet they fail to realize that the treasures need to be stored in heaven not on earth. I will be seeing the movie as soon as I get a Baby-sitter, because my children are too young to view the depths of the movie. They do know the Lord is great, but I do believe it is too much for them to handle because they are 2 and 4 years old. Thank you again for taking a stand for those of us who don’t have as much recognition as you. God bless you and those involved in the movie and your families. Your friend, sister in Christ.
Posted by: Lillie at February 25, 2004 12:24 PMI just wanted to say thank you to Mel Gibson and all the people who had a part doing the movie. Yes, it was graphic, but they did a great job doing this. I am so glad that this movie was done and I hope it will reach many non-believers for the sake of their souls. The movie was done very well and I really appreciate all the time and money that was invested in it! May God bless all who had a part in the movie and may He also bless everyone who will and have seen it.
After watching the movie, I have a clear look at my life for Christ. Nothing is worth worring about after what Christ had to indure. I can do all things through Christ! I love Him even more now after seeing The Passion of the Christ.
Thanks!
Donna
As the name I put on here suggests, I am Santa at Christmas every year. But unlike some of the men of the white hair and beard I strive to put forth the Lord before anything at Christmas. At EVERY feasible opportunity I not only speak about the baby Jesus but point out that He was born to us a fragile and tender infant like the rest of us. That’s what made Jesus’s gift to us so very special. I’ve discovered that many of our little children in good Christian churches don’t really understand that Jesus was not a super baby. Many think that because He is the Son of God that He was like superbaby or baby Hercules or like the cartoon babies that possess super powers. When they grow up to be teens they dismiss the sacrifice Jesus made for us because they feel that what He did for us wasn’t so spectacular because He’s the Son of God, a “super man”. So my wife and I were VERY PLEASED that Mel Gibson developed and produced such a movie as The Passion of the Christ. The realism is so intense that it leaves no room for doubt that Jesus had come as indeed a man and was at the same time the Son of God! His pain and suffering proving His humanity is depicted very well. And in paradox any honest human being knows in their heart that they couldn’t have withstood one tenth of what Jesus did which proves His divinity.
So every Christmas as this Santa constantly points to the humanity of the baby Jesus I have been blessed with the feeling of satisfaction that there is a movie out there showing the humanity and the divinity of Jesus’s death and resurrection!
Thank you Mel and praise the Lord!
And at Christmas please remember, “Santa is to serve! NOT TO BE SERVED!”
Santa, servant of Jesus.
I was not looking for nude pictures of Kirk Talley. I was looking for some honest information about him as we have just now heard things are not as they should be. Could someone tell us the truth of what is going on in Kirks life.
Posted by: SHaron at August 26, 2004 01:57 PMGreetings, in the Lord Jesus Christ. I just turned 19, when I saw The Passion I burst into tears. It was very emotional, and gut wrenching to see my Lord hung onto a tree. I was writing a movie at the time, and I felt God tell me to finish it, according to his will, while watching it. It was already supposed to be Christian, but God spoke to me and helped me to finish it. Mel Gibson has always been my so-called “idol” in acting. I was trying to film my movie on a independent basis, however last night Sept. 6th, 2004 I had just finished watching Conspiracy theory and went to take a shower and while doing so I felt a calm sprit say find him. I am not mature as a Christian at all, but I know that I was put here for a purpose and that was to make movies for the revival coming, on top of that I have a great calling for kids and orphans and I know through this business I can help millions be feed and housed in a physical and spiritual way. I only hope I can even briefly talk to Mel. Mel thank you for standing up and making a difference and paving the way for me. I hope to meet you some day, hopefully by Gods grace soon. Thank you for listening to me and have a good and Godly day.
