GS Megaphone said it best... It's Good to be Alive
I like this group and this song... Had the chance to meet with them concerning a discipleship program/tool for their ministry.
Who is GSM?
I have had cookies at Randy's house with his family, including the cats! How cool is that?
When I mentioned the tangible presence of God. It really refers to an overwhelming peace or sense of a presence that overshadows everything. Basically, you make contact will the supernatural. It's really hard to explain beyond that point.
Here are the details of what happened.
We fondly believe in the power of prayer so we set aside an hour and thirty minutes of prayer time prior to our worship service.
This intercessory and preparatory prayer starts every Sunday morning at 9:00 AM and continues until 10:30 AM. At that point we go into our worship service.
The prayer time was charged with power, that same energy overflowed into our worship. Deacon Jerome Sims made the transition from the private prayer into a corporate prayer setting when he prayed from the podium from 10:20 to 10:35.
Following that, I started praise and worship by singing a Judith Christie-McAllister song, "Everybody Dancin'". From there, I sang a variation of "Oh, How I Love Him". That song transitioned into a time of ministry and then to the song by the Full Gospel Baptist Fellowship Mass Choir, "Bow Down and Worship Him." From there, I sang a couple of songs as recorded by Benny Hinn's Ministry, "I Worship You, Almighty God" and "There is None Like You."
Next was our Confession of Faith... (I'll post that later)
Let's jump to the Word of God. Our Pastor, Bishop Stephen Christian, was out of town ministering so his wife, Minister Masako Christian, preached. In continuing with the series at our church, "What the Bible Says About...", her subtopic was "Women in Ministry."
She shared with the congregation that there are Seven areas in the bible where women serve in ministry.
Those areas are:
(1) Prophecy - Acts 2:17, 18
(2) Giving - Luke 8:3
(3) Teaching - Acts 18: 24-26
(4) Servant Leadership - Romans 16:1-3
(5) Service - Luke 10: 38-41
(6) Evangelism - John 4:29, John 4:49-42, Acts 8:104, Acts 22:4
(7) Ministry to the Family - II Timothy 1:5
We were really blessed and encouraged by this message. God really blessed us through Minister Masako Christian.
Hey...
God bless you, today.
More on the Confession of Faith a little later. . .
Wow. It was really awesome. From the time of the collective prayer of the congregation, into the praise and worship, continuing in the preached Word of God, the tangible presence of God was in the building.
Really, in layman's terms, what does that mean?
Sounds like a bunch of religious terms...
I'll clarify a little later

Other stuff that I do...
There is this ministry that provides accountable discipleship and evangelism. Cool. Check it out here at www.disciplethem.com.
Another thing that I do is web development. I currently have some sites that are in development that I may be able to show a little later.
Finally, I was able to do some keyboarding and arranging for the pastor of Bountiful Blessings Fellowship on his new CD release for the Lightyear Record label. The name of the album is "Call Me Christian", you can pick it up from Best Buy, here.
So, where were we?
Yes, I remember now. I was talking about what I do by night. Well, really, that's where it does get interesting. I do several things.
First, I told you about my relationship with Christ. That leads into my work in ministry, or better put, what I do in ministry.
And that is actually several things. First, I am a teaching minister at my church, Bountiful Blessings Fellowship, one of the greatest churches in the world. How can I make such and statement. Well, easy, it's like this.
We are a bunch of Christians who realize that we are not perfect in our past, present, or true enough, our future. Therefore all stand in need of the Grace of God to sustain us. If it was not for His Grace and finished work on the cross, we would still be lost. For that reason we are gracious, loving, and kind to one another. While at the SAME time holding each other accountable to the Word of God as the final authority on everything that we do in our lives.
That's pretty cool to have brothers and sisters who understand that I have weaknesses and struggles and not "throw me away" because of them. Yet at the same time, constantly taking me to the Word of God. Now that's balance. We are an interdenominational ministry that both believes in the current day operation of the spiritual gifts and the security of the believer. That's a rare combo.
Greetings.
Here it is. Just some writings about who I am and what I do. That's if I really do anything that is out of the ordinary, usually or abnormal or interesting for that matter...
It can probably be best said that I am a regular guy with a regular life.
What do I do? Well, I do a few things. By day, I am a database administrator/web developer for a Fortune 500 company. By night, well that's were it all gets really interesting.
First and foremost you have to understand that I have a relationship with Jesus Christ. He is my source and inspiration, my role model, my Lord, my God.
More on this later. Gotta go to the office. We have a knowledge base upgrade to do today.
